On the 5th of February 2009 Alfredo Tassi died on the stage of the Theater Auditorium- Gran Theatre in Dijon, he was a 27 years old from Offida AP.He was working as stagehand for the theater company Societas Raffaello Sanzio from Cesena and he died while setting up the play Inferno, trying a complex stage machine that was part of the show. Alfredo died before the ambulance could get there.The autopsy revealed internal injuries to the liver and to one kidney that caused the death, while the company, at the beggining momento aveva parlato di un infarto. said it was caused by heart attack. The enquiry started by the french court about the event, is still in progress. During the Alfredos funeral in Offida, the 8th of February 2009, a rappresentative of the Societas read out a letter that offended the feelings of some of the people, friends and pals of Alfredo The letter seemed to reduce the death of Alfredo to the tragic consequence of a game and without considering it a proper accicent on the work place On the 12th of March 2009 in the FNAC in Genova, Chiara Guidi, member of Raffaello Sanzio together with musician Scott Gibbons, held a conference to introduce the show that was about to be played during those days in Theater of Tosse in Genova, The Cryonic Chants. At the end of the conference few questions were asked to Chiara Guidi about what happened in Dijon and about the behaviour of the company after the accident.
